FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is included in the portrait session?

  • 1 hour photo shoot (approximately 75 - 100 shots)  We can do as many looks as you can fit into this time frame. However, I would not recommend more than 4 outfits.  It makes it less cumbersome when looking through all photos and narrowing down to your final choices. If you'd like more time, you may extend your session for $50 per half hour.

  • Minor retouches (red-eye, blemishes).  Airbrushing is an additional $25.

  • Digital copies of final photos & templates (headshots with name on borders)

Are your photo shoots indoor or outdoor?

I like to  shoot outdoors and utilize the natural light. It brings the photo to life.

Can you shoot black & white?

Yes. I actually shoot in color but have the flexibility to develop the pictures in black & white or sepia through the software I use.

Do you have a hair and makeup artist available?

Yes, I can assist with hair and makeup, if needed for an additional $50 per session.

Do you do retouches?

Yes. The session includes minor retouches like fixing red-eye &/or minor blemishes. Airbrushing out dark circles under the eyes.  Other major retouching is an additional $25. Remember you want your headshot to represent your best self. You don’t want to look fake. Our retouches are made to look as natural as possible while smoothing out those minor blemishes like dark circles or puffiness under the eyes or zapping away zits.

What happens after my shoot? Who does your printing?

After you have chosen your poses and approved of all final retouches, I will only provide you with digital copies. I do not print out final photos.  I will email or provide you with a link to download them. If you prefer to have them on a flash drive, there is an additional $5.00 fee.

Do you make comp cards or business cards?

Yes, for an additional fee starting at $50.

How many looks at your price?

The sessions are 2-3 hours which includes shooting & reviewing photos. We can do as many looks as you can fit into this time frame.  However, I would not recommend more than 4 outfits.  It makes it less cumbersome when looking through all photos and narrowing down to your final choices. If you'd like more time, you may extend your session for $50 per half hour.
